PCT Hiker Yearbook

By the time someone reaches us here in Lake Hughes they've crossed the full length of the Southern California desert, climbed in and out of canyons, navigated LONG water carries of 20+ miles, and proved to themselves that they can keep going even when everything hurts.
Your first 500 miles is an important milestone because it's the threshold PCTA.org uses to define a long-distance hiker and qualifies you for the PCT Long-Distance Permit, the interagency pass that recognizes you as a committed thru-hiker!
This year were starting our official Outpost Yearbook, to share some of the wonderful adventurers who stop here at the Outpost. We're honored to be a small part of your journey!
